Inter-House English Debate Competition 2025

On 20th September 2025, St. Michael High School, Mahim held its Inter-House English Debate Competition under the Happy Saturday initiative. Std. IX students debated on the topics “Is Online Shopping More Convenient than Traditional Shopping?” and “Strict Discipline Makes Students Successful.”

With guidance from the teacher in-charges and judged by Mr. Roy Couthino and Mr. Lloyd Fernandes, the event was engaging and well-conducted. Green House and Red House emerged as winners, while all participants were recognised with certificates. The debate proved to be an enriching platform for critical thinking, communication, and confidence.
