Sr. Celine Serrao
PRIMARY HEADMISTRESS
“Education is the ability to listen to anything without loosing your temper or self confidence.”
I feel extremely privileged to pen down my experiences as a Headmistress of St. Michael High School, on the occasion of 175th Jubilee of the School. I stepped into the school in the year of 2021.
I had a profound impact on the lives of Students, Teachers & School Community. I worked to develop and communicate a clear vision and mission for the school that aligns with educational goals and values. Recruiting, mentoring and supporting teachers and staff to foster a positive and productive work environment. Ensuring that the curriculum meets educational standards and address the diverse needs of students. Encouraging students’ participation in sports and arts to foster a well-rounded education. As a whole I would like to cater to diverse learning methods, foster creativity and develop students’ emotional and social skills. Our focus is to develop future leaders among students preparing them for responsible roles in society.
The essence of education is not to get a certificate or a job but to be a holistically developed person who can positively impact the society.
